The Solarbloc Anti-buckling System enhances the rigidity of larger modules by increasing the number of fixing points to six.

Using Solarbloc 0º Coplanar structures combined with metal rods and folded plates, they secure the modules at their mid-point, maximising the strength of the modules by securing them to the structure on all sides.

To solve this limitation of the module’s mounting position, the Solarbloc Anti-buckling System offers the necessary rigidity so that the module does not suffer deformations that affect its integrity. Proof of this are the satisfactory tests carried out by Pretensados Durán S.L. to check the deformations of this system.

1. Identify the necessary model

We must provide Solarbloc’s technicians with the details of our installation, together with the type of module used or to be used together with the type of module that has been or will be used.

2. Mounting position relative to the module.

The Solarbloc Anti-buckling System is suitable for installation at the mid-point of the long side of the module when installed horizontally on Solarbloc structures.

4. Bracket Handling

The bases of this Solarbloc Anti-buckling System are the Solarbloc 0º Coplanar structures, which have a mass of 25 kg, so no machinery is required for their handling, although a manual forklift or similar is recommended for large volume installations

5. Assemble the components to the structures

After placing all the bases of this Solarbloc Anti-buckling System at the midpoint of the module, the metal components will be mounted on them.

6. Tighten the components of the Solarbloc Anti-buckling System to the module.

Insert the assembled anti-buckling anchors into the concrete rail of the Solarbloc 0º Coplanar bases, the anchors will be mounted in the centre of the bases.
